About the Lawyer

Jesse I. Weidaw

Jesse is a 1999 graduate of Pennsylvania State University and a 2003 graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. While attending law school, Jesse was one of the first Pitt Law students to participate in a curriculum dedicated toward developing a focus in a career in domestic relations law. As part of the domestic relations - family law curriculum, Jesse completed an internship with the "Father's Collaborative" which provided legal assistance to area fathers who were seeking to reestablish meaningful relationships with their children, but were facing difficulties either due to resistance from their child's mother, or an inability to navigate the Family Court system. He was also involved with the University's civil practice clinics, which provide all manner of legal assistance to low income individuals throughout the state.

Since becoming licensed to practice law in 2003, Jesse has focused his practice in the domestic relations field. He has successfully tried all types of domestic relations cases throughout Western Pennsylvania. Mr. Weidaw is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations and the Family Law and Young Lawyers Sections of both Associations.
